C0raline.
This is one of my favourite films ever. "Coraline" It's directed by Henry Selick the same director of "The nightmare before Christmas". It is an awesome film I absolutely love it. It's a 3D horror fantasy film. With the set and cast made out of playdo or some form of plasticine. It is about a girl who finds another world that is a strangely idealised version of her frustrating home, but it has sinister secrets. It has an unusual and awesome story and it's freaky in a good way. I love it. I watched it yesterday and it's one of those films that all generations will love. It's for children who have a dark side and it's for people like me because it really is entertaining. The whole story plot makes you freak out at the thought of someone replacing your eyes with buttons. The strangeness of the direction really captivates me and draws me into the Coraline world. It also has some pretty cool actor voices like: Dakota Fanning and Teri Thatcher.I would definitely recommend that you go and watch it. NOW!

The To Do List!
I, like probably many others out there, have an obsession with "to do lists" I like to write everything I need to do, get or buy so that it's not buzzing around in my mind making me nervous and stressed.
I love the feeling of scribbling out a task on a list. Seeing the entire list all scribbled out is a very satisfying thing for me. I love it.
When I am working in the week I find it very difficult to get things done because I am tired and just want to chill in the evening. But the weekend is here so I can finally get those little tasks off my chest and done, ready for the next week. I love it.
I also like to write new lists when the old one is getting a bit faffy. Don't like faffy lists. This must be some sort of Obsessive Compulsive Disorder, but don't we all have this in one form or another.
I am normal.

The good Samaritan that I am.
Today started like any other day. I got up at a ridiculously early time for work, got ready and headed off to the pier to catch my boat.
Yes that's right I get a BOAT to work. I know I'm cool!
Anyway, I went to the little Costa/bar thing they have on the boat to get my breakfast. A nice healthy choice of fresh orange juice and a nutty bar. As I was collecting the nutty bar from the front, a man got in the queue and I lost of space. No biggy but when it came to the queue moving he offered it to me. I politely declined because I had thought about it moments before (yeah I know I'm superstitious ha) and I decided "no, Becki do your good deed for the day" so I refused his offer and let him go first. Aren't I the sweetest young lady, like...ever!
Anyway, when it came to him ordering his coffee, he wanted to pay via debit card but there was a £3 pound minimum spend, so he turned to me and said I will get these for you... (:O) So the man bought me my breakfast and that turned out to be the nicest thing someone has done to me since I moved down to London last year.
Finally a sign of compassion in the human race. I love it. My morning consisted of a good deed done by me which resulted in a good deed done for me and I had a free breakfast as well. It. Was. Awesome! Thank you business man on the Thames Clipper @ 7.30. You made my day.

First Site Of Spring

At first I thought it might be snow because we have had the oddest and oldest March since 1962 but at a second glance I catch a glimpse of baby pink.
It was my first site of seeing Spring blossom on the trees and it made me smile. Finally the new buds and flowers are waking from their winter state and starting to add a splash of colour to the world. The day by day progress of seeing more colours on the trees, an array of greens cascade over all the trees. It's uplifting. I can not wait for the day I can trolley off to work without a coat and scarf and skip down the street in my flip flops. Not long now new nail vanish, not long at all.
The lunch breaks in the park and the long walks home in the sunshine, making 7pm look not so depressing when getting in from work. I can not wait for the shining happy sun to brighten my day and make me smile every single day.
Come one English summer...be a good'un.
